......Kanab Mayor Laycook honored the High Desert Chapter with the "Mayor's Choice Award". This was the Mayor's way of thanking the Horsemen for community service including building 2 trails and two sets of equestrian corrals. Well Done High Desert.....

March 20: Ride: North entrance to Best Friends. Meet at Glaziers at 9am or at the trailhead at 9:30. 2-3 hours
March 31 Work group: "The Barracks". 9am - ? . Lunch included
April 8: Regular Meeting: Work Force Conference Room. 7pm
April 17: Ride: Snake Gulch. 9am. Meet at Glaziers parking lot. All day ride!
May 13: Regular Meeting: Work Force Conference Room. 7pm
May 21: Ground breaking ceremony and work group: Tom's Canyon. 10am*. 6 hours
May 22: Ride: Cottonwood Trail. 9am*. 4-5 hours
June 5: Work group: Tom's Canyon. 7am*. 5-6 hours
June 10: Regular Meeting: Work Force Conference Room. 7pm
June 18: Ride (in conjunction with Jacob Hamblin Days): Crocodile. 8am*. 3-5 hours
July 4: Ride: Kanab 4th of July Parade. Time TDB. 1 hour
July 8: Regular Meeting: Work Force Conference Room. 7pm
July 17: Ride: Kaibab. Meet at Glaziers at 8am. 1 hour drive each way. 3-4 hour ride.
July 24: Ride: Pioneer Days Parade: Kanab. Time TBD. 1 hour

August 21: Ride: Paria Outpost. Time TDB. Plan to have dinner after the ride.
August 26-28: Western Legends. Parade starts at high noon. Booth open all day.

September 18: Ride: Proctor-Hatch: Time TBD. All day
September 25: Dedication and ride: Tom's Canyon. Also in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. Time TBD. 2-3 hours

October 16: Ride: Deer Springs. 9am*. 3-4 hours
November 11: Regular Meeting: Work Force Conference Room. 7pm
November 20: Ride: Clamshell-Fredonia. 10am*. 2 hours

We meet on Tuesdays at 3pm at the Glaziers parking lot (the signal at highways 89 and 89a).
